22 year male with EDS, sleep attacks, hypnogogic hallucinations, sleep paralysis, and classic cataplectic attacks. History and physical negative for any other sleep disorder. Most of us may perform a PSG/MSLT before initiating treatment in real life. What would be the right answer for the examination, as far as the need for performing a PSG/MSLT before initiating treatment?
