You have these in your binder. They are in a section called E MSLT/ MWT.
The important variables are mean sleep latency and
number of REM episodes.
See if you agree with the reoported data.
Don't sleep stage score each epoch. Find sleep onset and look for the presence of REM -- unless
of course you are instructed to do otherwise.
Make a table as you go throught the data.
Nap#,
time, epoch number, comments.
This table will allow you to easily calculate mean
sleep latency and count number of rem episodes and REM latency ( although this is not a cliniclly useful number)
