1. Neuromuscular disorder with alveolar hypoventilation
2. Congestive heart failure
3. Obstructive sleep apne
4. REM behavior disorder
5. Sleep walking
6. Confusional arousal
7. Sleep related epilepsy (less likely)
8. Psychotic disorder

Plan:
1. Chest xray
2. Pulmonary function tests
3. ABG
4. ECHO
5. Consider more formal neuro eval
6. Diagnostic PSG with video recording
7. Counsel on protective measures: wife sleeping in other room, protective padding or rug on floor next to bed in case of fall out of bed.
