ICSD clearly staes, while counting PLMs, each should be "separated" by an interval 5 seconds (page 66, last line)

Then there is this example in Sleep Pearls, 2nd ed, page 256: If right and left leg EMGs are recorded on two different channels, if a PLM on RIGHT starts, say at 5 secs into the epoch (lasts 4 seconds) and another is noted in LEFT leg at 11 seconds into the epoch, WE ARE SUPPOSED TO COUNT TMEM AS TWO even though "the interval between end of first and the beginning of the second is only 2 seconds"!!! Dr. Berry is counting the time from beginning of one to the beginning of the next.

My personal bias would be to count them as one event! Am I wrong??
