Our son is 12 weeks old and we do have him on a schedule, but it is flexible. We wake up at 7:30a.m. and feed every 2 and a half to 3 hours throughout the day. Usually 10a.m., 1p.m., 4p.m., 6:30p.m. and 9:oo p.m. From there he generally goes down at 10p.m. until anywhere between 3 and 6 a.m. He then goes down until 7:30a.m. His daytime naps are hit or miss. We attempt a feed, play, nap cycle - but you know how that goes. I think a lot of people confuse scheduling with a strict routine like a train schedule. I don't thin it has to be that cut and dried. What helped us the most was setting a start time for every day and realizing that they eat when they are hungry and there are days when a schedule just won't work. Good Luck to you...
