Baby drams

Posted by Ericka Garcia on February 23, 2000 at 11:22:26:

My one year old baby girl usually sleeps through the night, if she wakes at all she only whimpers and falls asleep or on occassions she'll want a bottle and goes right back to sleep again. This time she woke up crying hard. I think she had a nightmare. I tried consoling her and the bottle, neither worked. I continued to console her as she cried her self to sleep after about twenty minutes of cying. I thouhgt she might have had a nightmare of something that might have scared her during the day but it's hard to say since she's at the 'sitters during the day. Since i'm a first time mother I don't know if this is okay or what could have made her cry so hard and in the middle of the night. I'd appreciate any thougths and opinions.
