christine:

I really think that trying to get a 3 week old baby into a sleeping routine is an impossiblity. I have a 7 week old myself and I also have a 4 year old. Both babies didn't have any semblance of a schedule at that age, no matter how hard I tried. Of course I nursed both of them, which makes it harder, but it seems like at about 3 months of age they get themselves into a routine they're happy with. I know it's hard, but be patient. Every day your baby gets a little bigger. Just try to enjoy her while she's little. Beleive me, you will miss it when she gets bigger.
