Natures Crib or other products to help baby sleep

Hi,

I would be really greatful if anyone could give me some advise on how they use the Nature's crib system or any other products that help to put their babby to sleep. I don't have any system yet and am just at the stage of doing my research.
Do you leave the system on all the time, while baby is in the crib?

If so will this cause any form of dependency or bad sleeping habits?

Or is the system on some sort of timer so that it automatically switches off?

Any advise on this or any other product, and the best ways to use them, would really help.
