newborn sleep patterns

Our newborn is 10 days old. So far she nurses every 2 hrs during the day and is awake often. During the night she sleeps on the average in 3-4 hr intervals. Is this a pattern she will keep or could things change? Our older child had colic from day one so this sched. gives us some needed rest.
