Have you tried the radio or tape player? My 11 month old loves his Seseme street tapes and thats the only way i can get him to take a nap.
also make sure the nap is on a schedule and that its taken about the same time every day. Oh here is another thing i did too I covered the windows with a heavy blanket to make the room darker and that seems to work pretty well also.
