My 7 month old is still not sleeping on his own...

Hi. My daughter is just 7 months old and she not sleeping through the night. I was using the pacifier to put her to bed and then at 4 and a 1/2 months I took the paci away and tried the Ferber method! She was getting up around 8 times a night! Well, after just 2 nights, she was finally sleeping through from 8 to 6! It was wonderful. Well, then at 5 1/2 months we moved. Understandabely, (sP?) she stopped her wonderful sleep habits and only this time I was rocking her to sleep. We have since moved into our new home and have been here for over a month and she only wants me to rock her a certain way; standing up and swaying side to side! She is 18 pounds and it is uncomfortable. I want nedtime to be a pleasant experience and I feel gulity for letting her cry. she still gets up during the night also even after having pleanty to eat all day! What should I do?
