Hi! Well, thanks for the advice. However, my baby does not need to eat in the middle of the night, nor do I change his diaper (like I said, too cross-eyed.) He just wakes up for his pacifier (stupid thing). During the day when he is getting sleepy, I just lay him down and he'll put himself to sleep, unless he loses his pacifier. The same thing for when he goes to bed the first time. He'll put himself right to sleep. The problem comes when he's asleep and the pacifier comes out. If he's really out, he'll stay asleep, but when he starts waking up a little, he'll cry for it. I would try the Ferber method, but my husband works night shift and I'm all alone at night. I have no one there to keep me from running in all the time and I still am not getting any sleep listening to him cry. I guess I'll just have to suck it up and let him cry sometime soon since I go back to work at the end of August. Is Ferber really that terrible? Thanks again for the advice. It's always welcome!
