hello! Wow! I'm sorry to hear that. It's tough. I'm going throught the same thing. The night before last, my daughter was up at 10, 12 and 2 am and didnt go back to sleep until 4:30 a.m. She wanted to play. Well, I was rocking her and was in so much pain I finally gave her a kiss and put her down at 3:45. She cried until 4:30 a.m. and then fell asleep. It's so hard, I know. I suppose the important thing is to be consistent. Last night, I put her to bed awake and she cried for 15 minutes (hard). then she woke up again at 8:10 and cried for 10 minutes. She slept until 4:30 am and I fed her, put her to bed without rocking her and she cried for maybe 5 minutes until she woke up refreshed and happy at 7:30am. So...it is so hard buit it works. (9 times out of 10) It just takes perserverance, I suppose. It will be better in the long run. But like the method says, if you do it half heartedly then you may want to find another method becuase it just confuses them. Perhaps you should call your pediatrician and get some truly professional advice? I know exactly what you are dealing with. I wish you were my neighbor. :) We could take turns! Ha! Well, god luck and keep me posted!
