sleep and feeding disorders in young children with noonan syndrome

Posted by abigail king on January 01, 2001 at 18:14:26:

I am interested in finding out about the incidence of sleep disorders in young children with Noonan Syndrome. I am currently working with a young boy who has this syndrome. He has had a long history of severe reflux and associated feeding difficulties as well.He has a gastrostomy button inserted to allow supplemental feeding. This little boy is now 2 years old and wakes hourly if not more frequently. He sweats a great deal during the day as well as during sleep.
I would be interested in speaking to anyone who may have some advice or know of a resource/ literature I can go to so that I might help this little boy's family.
Thankyou, Abigail King, Occupational Therapist, Royal Childrens Hospital, Brisbane.
