my child is crying too much before going to sleep

my child used to go to sleep very easily previously. he is now six months old. now a days he cries terribly whenever he is sleepy and makes lot of fuss to sleep. we have tried to see if he has stomach pain or he is too cold or too hot and have made him comfortable in all respect yet he cries and after lot of rocking in cradle will he finally sleep. any clue as to what is the prob
