Hello there,

As for any good suggestions that Janee asked about regarding her son's same difficulty, I must say there's been nothing helpful that's for sure.

We were told to enforce a bedtime routine. We've done that from his first few days. We were told it must be because he co-sleeps with us, so we introduced him to his own crib and found absolutely no difference. As solids were introduced, we were told it must be allergies. In time, Griffin saw an allergist and came home with a clean bill. Ditto on the suggestion of asthma. We were once told that my milk must be "bad" and that this is why he is waking so frequently...this is the only piece of advice we disregarded without entertaining it. We've continued on with the Attachment Parenting, have dabbled with the Ferber method when made to feel guilty enough by others, and so on.

In short, we are no further ahead than we were on the day he was born and he began waking every two hours.

Terry asked if we've see a sleep specialist yet and the answer is no, only because our gp keeps insisting Griffin is fine developmentally and cognitively, so the situation should resolve itself. I am beginning to feel it is time to demand some additional help!

Thank you for the feedback and if I've babbled without answering your questions, just let me know!
