My baby girl use to wake and want to nurse for a few moments when she was that age. It was easy for me to keep her in bed with me and let her nurse and go back to sleep, but at the same time it was a little frustrating to get woke up for a just a few minutes.

I don't know why she did it perhaps she had a dream, or maybe I woke her up snoring, or maybe she was just thirsty. But she is 7 mos now and only wakes about once each night. I think that the more mobile they get and the more exercise and less sleep the get during the day helps them to sleep better at night. Hopefully your little one will outgrow his need to be comforted soon and you will get more rest, so hang in there.
