7 week old-naps

Help!! My 7 week old sleeps fine during the night, having a 6 to 7 hour sleep stretch, but during the day he refuses to take a nap. He is not content at all during the daytime, and cries continuously when I lay him in his crib. He is so overtired all day long. I try car rides, strollers, and rocking him, but he never is content, nor will he fall asleep. When I pick him up after crying in his crib for a 1/2 hour, he will doze off in my arms, but when I try to lay him back down, he starts screaming again.
