If your daughter will only sleep in a bouncy seat, maybe it is because of the semi-upright position. I would have her checked for a physical problem such as an ear infection or acid reflux. Both of these conditions cause increased pain when the baby is laying down, which could account for the screaming. One thing that might help (once you have her checked) is to raise one end of the bed by putting a pillow under one end of the mattress to raise it to a slight angle. Another suggestion would be to let her sleep in a tote-seat (one of my children had congestion as an infant and the upright position helped him breathe better. He slept in his tote seat for several months until he outgrew it!)
