Put him to sleep later! Honestly, there is no "normal" amount of sleep that a baby should have at any given age. They are all individuals, just like adults, and their sleep needs will vary widely. I NEVER put my kids to bed as early as 7pm.at that age! Eight or nine was more typical, and some were night owls and didn't go to bed till TEN and were still up at dawn! It is important to follow your child's sleep cues, if he isn't tired, he isn't tired! You can't make him sleep any more than he needs. Put him down at 8 and see what happens.
