Not that I am any sort of expert but my little girl will be 9 month Friday. She also takes 2 adequate naps during the day and is tired by 6 The time change has been a struggle as she was ready for bed by 5. What I have been doing/did which seemed to work for us was trying to keep her up 5 then 10 then 15 min extra each night. We are now at 6:30 which can be a challenge -she gets hyper not crabby. She also just started sleeping all the way through to 6:30. She was waking at 5 like your baby and I would go in see what she needed food/diaper change and put her back in her crib. Some mornings I would get as much as another 2.5 hours of sleep from her other days she would not go back to sleep.

Good Luck
