Thanks for your reply. He doesnt do it very often...so its not really a problem. I had read that if you let your baby determine what time he gets up ( by crying) and you dont wake him up that he will continually wake up earlier and earlier. He has done that a few times but we let him cry for a few minutes and he went back to sleep. However, when he wakes so close to his normal wake up time. ( wakes up at 5:45 when he would normally get up at 6) I dont want to make him fuss over 15 minutes?

Anyway...in your experience...does it occur normally. He is 5 months old now...Im assuming it happens differently with every baby..is there an average age?
