The public health nurse said that if I was worried about my husband rolling over the baby (which I wasn't), then just put a pillow between my husband and the baby when the baby is nursing on that side. I think most fathers would have some sort of fatherly instinct that would prevent them from rolling onto their baby, especially if they are very attached to their baby.
