do you think the tummy sleep worked because she cannot startle and kick her legs?

does she like to play on her tummy when awake?

my son doesn't like to be on his tummy for play at all. he usually grunts and fusses and melts down if left too long. i think my son is like your daughter in the sense that he has not matured in his sleep cycles to keep from waking at the transition of one sleep cycle to another. however, here's the weird thing: although the naps are 30-60 minutes (usually 40 on the dot), he sleeps at night for hours. last night, for example, he slept from 5:45 pm to 10:30 pm. he went right down after eating at 10:30 pm. he slept again until 2 am, and he went right to sleep after eating at 2 am and slept until 5 am. why can he sleep for hours at night and not during the day? it's very frustrating!
