wish I was writing to tell you that I had an answer to your son's napping problem, but my 22 week-old daughter is having the same problem. She does, however, sleep for about 10 hours at night now, and has been doing so for about 5 weeks. I nurse her to sleep at night, and she goes down at 8p.m. and doesn't wake at all until at least 6 a.m.
Napping during the day is another story...she usually cries when I put her down, and if she does finally fall asleep it is almost never for more than 45 mins...if I really need for her to nap (which is most days!), I put her in her swing and that sometimes gets her over the 45 minute mark.
So, if you do find something that works, I'd love to know...
in the meantime, best of luck for restful nights AND days!
