Asking Anna

Posted by Evie on May 16, 2002 at 08:34:31:

Anna,
I have been reading your messages with Confused Mommy. My daughter was doing the same thing, 30- min naps and being tired and fussy all the time. I believe from many of your past messages that we hold to similar fews on child rearing and sleep, won't discuss these on forum. My daughter did start doing better with her nap around 6 months of age. NOw 7 months, the last 2 or 3 days she seems to be reverting back to this horrible daytime sleep problem. I follow a good consistant napping time and pattern for soothing. I havent change a thing...I am so scared this will go on and was wondering if your child ever had a set back...if so could it be due to developmental changes etc. Any ideas would be appreciated, I too came through 6 months of no quality naps for my daughter and had just seen such postive changes in her dispostion and now it seems like we are back to square one. One other thing...she just did start sleeping good quality, restorative sleep at night and last night she woke several times...I don't see a tooth coming in and hate to blame everything on teething. Any response would be appreciated.

THank you,
Evie
