My daughter never shows signs of sleepiness. I grew to learn that keeping her up resulted her her getting really "wired". So we have a set bed time (8pm) and stick to it. I know what you mean about debating this issue... this past weekend I was at a family party. It was a little past 8:00 and my daughter was running around, rolling around on the floor, pretending to be a lion, etc, etc. I was getting ready to put her to bed and many of the relatives were telling me that she didn't seem tired and I should let her stay up. What they didn't understand is that even if I put her to bed later, she still gets up at the same time in the morning and then she's miserably tired. What I've learned is that you find what makes you and your family happiest and go with it!
