Keep trying to let him cry it out. Eventually he'll get it. My baby used to cry all the time for naps, and now he doesn't. He is 14 months old. I think it was because of my perseverance in having it cry it out. Sometimes, I would have to go outside into my yard without the monitor so that I didn't go mad listening to him cry. One morning, I left him in his crib for three hours. He wasn't crying the whole time, but he only slept for 15 minutes during those three hours.

I didn't do this on a daily basis. Some days, I would walk with him and rock him until he fell asleep in my arms. Because I didn't have the strenth to listen to him cry that day.

This napping issue was probably the hardest thing to deal with when he was an infant. But believe me, it gets better!
