One way to rule out GERD is to not top off just before going to bed. If she goes to sleep without problem, it may not be GERD. This may require a night feeding which isn't unusual before they 6 months old.

I believe 3 months is too early for the reassuring plan, but there are some sleep docs that disagree.

Again you may want to do a search for a pediatric sleep specialist in your area and talk to him about the problem.
