Our baby, 6 months, is very restless as a sleeper and only ever sleeps for 3 to 4 hours.
She sleeps periodically during the day for 1 hour sessions but never usually more.
She sleeps from 7pm to 3am - then wakes always 3am to 3.30am.
She seems to regularly play with her legs whilst sleeping.
From the 3am wake she will shout (not cry) at the top of her voice (baby babbling) until 7am by which time the 3 year old toddler is up (6am usually) and the house starts its day.
The effect of this for 6 months has been that father can't do his job properly and mother is emotionally exhausted.
Changing routines and times of putting her to bed makes no difference.
