start putting him to be earlier (between 6p and 8p). you will
probably have a hard time doing so in the beginning, because
you will probably have to let him cry in protest, but this worked
for us. it took about 5 nights for our son to go down and stay
down but now he normally goes to bed at 6:30p and is up 2x to
eat and up for the day at 7:30am. now we are running into a new
problem with naps but that's another story (he's teething)!
