same thing happening to us right now exactly. at the advice of a
book we love we are putting him down earlier at night so he is
sleepier during the day to get him back into the swing of his
naps. it is starting to help but he was taking a 1 hour at 9a a
1 1/2 hour nap at noon and a 1 hour nap at 3:30. now he is
taking three 45 min naps and that is a feat in itself because he
talks and plays in his crib forever! i know we have to do
something though bcz he is cranky. reading through all the
different posts it seems like there are a lot of little boys
struggling with this problem at 7 to 8 mos. i think they just want
to play over sleeping...
