Posted by mcavin5 on August 22, 2007 at 06:34:30:OMG!!! Well this could be a potentially long post sorry. My daughter is 11 months old. She is dependent on O2 so she has some other issues right now but her sleep is whats really getting to me. She pretty much whines ALL nite. And please done think I am exaggerating (sp?). She will wake up screaming, she sits up, cries for a little then lays back down. And then half hour later the same thing. She did have issues with reflux but from all the test we have done she is pretty much over that hump. She does not have sleep apnea because we had to use that annoying machine for over 2 weeks. At times I can just talk to her and it consoles her for the moment. Other times I have to give her a bottle and then there are the times that no matter what I do she just screams and screams. Her ped keeps telling me to let her cry.Well that doesnt work for us 1. she will cry and cry for hours and sleep for 15 minutes and while she is crying she is getting mad choking and gagging and I just dont feel its worth it and 2. with her having the breathing issues she does if she gets to worked up it causes her a ton of problems.
Any other kids have this problem? Or anybody have any advice on what I can do?
