Last night I took my 7-month-old into our bed to feed him and fell asleep during the feeding. When I awoke, I saw him laying next to me with his eyes wide open. I sat up, and his eyes never blinked or moved, even after I shook him a little. He finally responded when I started talking to him.

I was so terrified! I've seen him sleep with his eyes slightly open before, but never like that. Does this normally occur for some infants? He is sick right now with a fever. Could that be a cause?
