Alex, thanks for the advice. I have seen both a doctor and a psychiatrist. My first doctor prescribed ambien but it did not work very well and left me feeling too doped up in the morning. It sounds as if Xanax has the same effect for you that it does for me. It has helped but does not always work. Have you or has anyone else taken anything else for anxiety that has helped them sleep better. I have heard of a few other medications such as Buspar that may help. I am currently on Zoloft as well but it has not seemed to help at all. Thx, Larry
