I'm 49 and ever since childhood I went to bed early ...to most people.... (by 9:30 or 10:00 PM).
I always got up bright eyed and alert at 5:00 AM or so - my best time to study, plan, etc.
My rather new husband likes to stay awake until around 11:00PM and gets up at 7:00 AM.
I would love to change my sleep schedule to be closer to his so we can spend more relaxation time together. I try to keep my eyes open (we enjoy watching tv or reading together in living room at night), but always fall asleep.
I have no reason to get up at 5:00 now except that I do
enjoy my early morning "alone time", write on computer, read paper, etc.
Now that clocks have been turned back in NJ, I am tired even earlier at night and get mad at myself because I want to stay awake to enjoy things with my husband in evenings.
Any advice appreciated.
