Have you tried a bruxing gaurd? My dentist gave me one a while ago, but I didn't wear it all that often. Bruxism may have been part of my problem but it wasn't THE problem if you get what I mean.

Anyway, I was looking through my medicine chest a while ago and I had a look at the thing. I hadn't used it that much, but there was a deep groove worn in one side. Better the plastic than my teeth. So I'm wearing it again.

It seems to have gotten rid of the part of my morning headache in the jaw area. The pain behind the eyeballs and the base of the skull probably come from something else.

It's kind of annoying to wear, I find myself really aware of it's presence. Also, it seems to shift my breathing from my mouth to my nose.

Asfaik, the only other alternative is braces, at least in my case.
