Bad patches are inevitable....after all, our experiences(and that includes insomnia, unfortunately) are stored in memory(subconscious) so they take a lot of time to minimize. Many Dr.'s, including Deepak Chopra do not advise getting out of bed and reawakening ourselves fully...they claim even bodily rest is somewhat beneficial. Since sleep is a natural phenomenom, I think when one feels tired one should go to sleep. I would work on timing later and just get what my body craves...I guess I'm lucky that I don't have to adhere to too strict a schedule. I empathize with those that have to be up very early for work when they don't get a night's sleep. Recently I discovered some great cd's at the library...they are collections of lullabies(don't laugh) and I play them softly and they take me back to a time when sleep was not an issue and I drift off....am off meds now and am taking one day at a time. I wish you every success in your journey.....Andrea
