hi jaycee, sorry u are having so many problems sleeping.. i was always a chronic insomniac, found it very difficult to fall asleep, and took hours... finally going whole nights with no sleep at all... i've tried many medications, and finally have settled with paxil 50 mgs... i started on a small dose as it actually wired me up and made me hypo for the first couple of weeks, and then after a while... i settled down, and am getting about 6 hours a night, which is a godsend. My pdoc tells me there are usually two reasons for not being able to get to sleep: anxiety, and physical reasons (pain, restless legs etc). So, perhaps if anxiety is a problem... review your meds... if u have chronic pain, or muscular problems for example restless legs or periodic limb movements... see a specialist about that. Personally, i take a dose of folic acid before bed for my restless legs, and the paxil for anxiety.. Seems to work for me. I hope u feel better soon. Good luck, u aren't alone.. Peg
