I wish I had found this website when my insomnia was at its worst.....the feeling of sharing certainly helps with the loneliness and frustration that sets in with insomnia. It's like all our defences are shut down...in a way I guess they are and one feels so helpless. I think a "one minute at a time" approach is helpful with insomnia....letting go of the past and not worrying about the future! It's very encouraging also to see so many references to prayerful remembrances by other members because I do believe that a calm and secure interior is only attainable through facing one's spiritual nature...all the logic in the world can't provide serenity!!So Heather, I too will keep you in my prayers!!
