Lisdon

Sorry to hear about your disappointment and I can definitely relate to your suffering. here is what I found interesting about your medication comment. I took Trazadone for a year while in graduate school and slept very well, though I would have side effects including sleepiness during the day. However, the medication became a placebo effect for me, when I took it, I could usually fall asleep asap. Well, trazadone should take 30 minutes to an hour to kick in. So, now from what you have read, you have starting thinking too much. That is the first opportunity to overcome. Meditation, a warm bath, soothing music etc. are things to try. I just read a book called Desperately Seeking Snoozin by John Wiedman for which I think you should check out of your library. But the mind is a very powerful unit, especially when someone is more proned to anxiety and stress. The goal is to achieve tranquility for which you can. The journey may be trying but the rewards are well worth it.

Good luck!
