Ellie....I don't think Sandman/Sandmama will object to our referring each other to different books , etc. that we,ve found helpful as long as they aren't on this web's booklist. Please try to read(buy or borrow from library) a book called "Fire in the Soul" by Joan Borysenko,Ph.D. You've probably heard of her. I can't tell you how much perspective this book has given me and I must tell you that I've identified with a lot of your posts. It's only $13.99 or even get it from the library...you'll know why I'm so keen on it when you begin to read it. Keep me posted on your progress and I'll remember you in my prayers.
