I took Trazadone for my insomnia (50 mg.) and it did make me tired and groggy at first. After a few weeks, the tiredness did go away but the Trazadone no longer worked. I still would wake up at 2:30 a.m. and stay awake for the remainder of the night. I finally stopped taking the Trazadone.
