I took over 100 mg (during certain periods 125 mg) of trazodone for insomnia for years. It certainly seemed to help me, in that I slept most of the time on it and had no discernible side effects, until it stopped working altogether last year, but as we all know, everyone has different reactions to drugs. That is why testing pharmaceuticals on animals is of absolutely no scientific value and can be dangerous as it can lead researchers astray (but that's another story).
I wonder if your hangover feeling could be a result of the combination of drugs you are taking (I just tried to post using the word 'koktail' written correctly but the 'kok' bit was considered unacceptable by Sandman and was censored! Ha ha!).
