Hi Ellie!,
I am so sorry that you are feeling so miserable, but I do understand. I feel some days that I am not going to make it either. The one question I have for you is, did you start feeling really bad after starting on the drugs? I remember you saying you were on Elavil(sp.). Did your problems start after you started taking it? Ever since I started on antidepressants and benzo, etc., I have felt like garbage. Everyday is a struggle. I was feeling better last week, but I seem to be slipping again. Fatigue, no motivation, foggy brain, etc. I am so afraid that these drugs have done some permanent damage. I am sleeping so much better (thanks to all the wonderful people here), but the fatigue during the day doesn't seem to be going away. I don't get it. I am now over 2 months of all the drugs and I still feel yucky! My doc. put me on 5htp and Sam-e. I was feeling better but because of finances, I haven't been able to get my Sam-e. It's so darn expensive! I do have to say though, that the 5htp has helped a lot and has definatley helped with my sleeping. Are you depressed, or is it mostly insomnia that you suffer from? I know what we're going through is real hell, but what keeps me going is thinking everyday that things WILL get better. I hope you feel better. Please write back. Take care and God bless!
Patty
