Serious Insomnia

Posted by Concerned Husband on January 10, 2002 at 06:10:50:

Hello, my wife has had insomnia for as long as I've known her, which is 3 years. And she has been to the doctor numerous times. They've prescribed sleeping pills but they don't work and I'm noticing that she is losing herself. She doesn't sleep for a week at a time and it is beginning to scare the hell out of me. It's to the point where I feel bad falling asleep because I know shes still awake. We've tried the maximum strength teas, massages, caffeine, and prescription sleeping pills. I don't know what to do and on top of that we have a 16 month old with unlimited energy and I can't help my wife out when I'm at work. The fact that she is not sleeping is taking a toll on her and we just need some help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God Bless.
