Hi Lynne,

thankyou for the encouragment. I definitely know that I am doing a lot better than a lot of people on this website and that you are right - I shouldn't compare myself to other people anyway. I am just finding these negative thoughts and anxiety hard to beat. But I am slowly getting there. I slept quite well last night (at least, I feel like I did because I am feeling much better this morning than the past few mornings).

I did feel however like I had that lighter Stage 2 sleep after I woke up to go to the bathroom, where a few times I was aware of things around me, and then I wasn't and the time seemed to pass very quickly. Atually I remember looking at the clock at 4.11am, and then realising that it was light and it must be 5am because I felt like I had been awake the whole time but it was actually closer to 6am! I was bad though, just staying in bed. It's just that I was feeling relaxed and not at all stressed or worried so I thought I would just stay there.

Oh well, I will get there one day!
