I was only on 300 mg of Serzone. I decreased my dose by half for about two weeks. I then reduced the dose by half again and did that for a couple of weeks. I then went off it all together. It was a piece of cake for me. The worst one I've ever gotten off of is Effexor. I only took it for a short while. I felt awful when I took it and awful when I came off it. I had to take it slow. I know it can be difficult to come off medications sometimes. I've been on so many, I've probably come off more than you can count. Serzone and Remeron were easy for me. That is not to say that you shouldn't ask your doctor. It might be different for you.
