Steve, i'm currently taking 50mg. of trazodone as well. It does give you a "hung-over" effect especially at higher doses. I was taking it every day, however i was uncomfortable with some of the side effects ie, dry itchie eyes, stuffed nose, headaches,inability to focus on more then a paragraph at a time.

I will now only take it on occasion...when I need a night of more zzz's.
