tapering off Remeron - experiences needed

Posted by stephm on February 20, 2002 at 09:10:49:

Hey! I have been on Remeron for 6 months now - I started at 30 mgs, that worked great (especially after I got over the side effects) and then at the end of November, I dropped it completely and slept fine through the end of December. And then anxiety struck again and I stopped sleepign so I went back to 15 mgs. Starting back at that dose was more sedating to begin, but then after awhile, it didn't work at all (well, it does occassionally). Now I'm considering going down to 7.5, but I'm curious to know if anyone started at 30, went to 15 and then to 7.5 and found that the lower doses are REALLY sedating? I'd like to eventually have what I had in December - no Remeron and 8-9 hours of sleep/night.

Muchas gracias!
